Online Orders

Ordering

  1. Online shop orders can only be placed through the website.
  2. Delivery dates are fixed for online shop orders, for a change in delivery date a bespoke order must be placed.
  3. Menu items are fixed, for substitutions or alterations a bespoke order must be placed.

Payment

  1. Payment must be paid in full in order for order to be secured.
  2. Items that are not paid for before delivery day will not be posted.

Cancellation and Refunds

  1. If an order has be cancelled due to illness, the client will be issued with a refund in the form of store credit.
  2. Refunds will not be made for delayed deliveries.
  3. Partial refund will be made if not all items for order are delivered.

Liability

  1. KB.eats is not responsible for damage caused to the cake by anyone not employed by KB.eats.
  2. KB.eats is not responsible for damage caused to the cake in transit for orders that are collected by the client.
  3. KB.eats is not responsible if orders melt or become deformed if kept inside or outside at high temperatures.

 

Bespoke Orders

Ordering

  1. Orders must be placed a minimum of 7 days before due date.
  2. Orders placed less than 7 days before due date will be subject to 10% rush order fee.
  3. No changes can be made to orders less than 7 days before due date.
  4. Acceptance of orders placed less than 7 days before due date, is at KB.eats discretion.
  5. Changes to orders cannot be made less than 7 days before the due date.

Payment

  1. A deposit of 25% of the total cost will be taken for orders placed 31 days before due date.
  2. A deposit of 50% of the total cost will be taken for orders placed less than 31 days before the due date.
  3. All deposits are non refundable.
  4. Full payment will be taken for orders placed less than 14 days before the due date.
  5. Payment for orders placed less than 14 days before due date is non refundable.
  6. Final payments must be made
  7. If the client fails to make payments the order will be cancelled and no refund will be given.
  8. The client will be given a grace period of 3 days following the due date in which the payment must be made or the order will be cancelled.
  9. Payment via bank transfer is preferred.

Refunds

A refund/partial refund may only be offered if all of the following conditions are met:

  1. The cake is returned within 1 hour of delivery.
  2. If less than 1/4 has been consumed.
  3. If it does not meet the KB.eats standards for taste, appearance or execution of baking.

  3. Delivery will not be made for orders that have not been paid in full.

Allegerns

  1. KB.eats is not responsible for allergic reactions caused if information on allergies is not provided by the customer.
  2. Allergen information for every order is provided with each order it is the clients responsibility to inform those who eat the cake of this.
