Last year I held a charity bake sale to launch my new website and branding. I chose to make it a charity bake sale in memory of my auntie Visha, who passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly in August 2018. It was a beautiful sunny day and we managed to raise nearly £2,000 for Winston’s Wish (a charity who support bereaved children) so I decided to make it an annual event.

This year however, things will be a little different! In order to still be able to hold the bake sale in a safe way, I am taking it online! All items for sale will be available to purchase on the KB.eats Online Shop.

The KB.eats Virtual Charity Bake Sale will be taking place on Sunday 9th August. This year, my cousins and uncle have chosen for all profits and raffle proceeds to be donated to Little Village. Little Village is “like a foodbank, but for clothes, toys and equipment for babies and children up to the age of 5. We’re a movement of parents committed to alleviating material poverty in London”. Money donated to Little Village will help them to support those London families who are most at risk of hardship thanks to Coronavirus. How Will it Work?

When? At 9am on Sunday 9th August all items will go live on kbeats.co.uk/shop.
Then? You will be sent a time to come collect your items from the KB.eats HQ (Woodley, RG5) on the same day (Sun 9/8) after 12pm. Postal items will be sent out on Monday 10th August.

Items for collection will be suitable for collection only. There will be no option for these to be delivered by post or otherwise.
Postal options can be sent to any UK (mainland) address only and there will be only one despatch day option (Mon 10/8).

Please note refunds will not be given if a collection only order is placed and you want it posted, so please read the production description carefully.

Raffle

As well as being able to donate to Little Village through buying baked goods, you can enter the raffle. Tickets cost £5 per entry and all proceeds will be donated.
