February 2015

DSC_0310 DSC_0299I have developed an obsession with doughnuts and pizza. I have always had a fondness for the two. In fact, on a number of occasions I have proclaimed my love for pizza is far greater than my love for most other human persons. The doughnut love probably began with my summer of doughnut love in 2014 (see the pics of me eating doughnuts on the right hand-side). You are probably pretty well aware, that neither of these circular dough based foods are particularly healthy so I unfortunately cannot eat them all day every day, as I would so love to do. I refuse to go as far as making the doughnuts out of quinoa or something ridiculous like that, but baked doughnuts, that's something I will allow.

DSC_0209DSC_0206Is it "yoghurt" or "yogurt"?! I have always spelt it "yoghurt", but noticed that it's spelt "yogurt" on a lot of packaging these days, so I googled it. "Yoghurt" is the English (correct) way of spelling it and "yogurt" is the American (incorrect) way of spelling it. It would seem that people in jolly ol' England have adopted the yank's spelling. I however, will continue spelling it the English (correct) way. I am so glad we've cleared that up. Don't get me started on "doughnut" and "donut"...
