Brown Butter, Rosemary & Blood Orange Doughnuts
Some evenings I come home from work, sit down with my notebook and plan recipes. I usually come up ideas on the walk from the tube station to my house. Don't know why, but that's always when I get my best ideas. I plan each months recipes based on what's in season and/or what I fancy making at the time. I had not planned to have two doughnutty recipes this month. But it happened and I doughnut have any regrets.
Doughffle
Up until about 5 minutes ago when I googled "doughnut waffle" I thought I had created something beautiful. So because I thought I'd dreamed up this recipe before I'd made them, after I'd made them and as I ate them, we are pretending I MADE THEM UP. It's an ingenious idea really. I think anything made into a doughnut is gonna be a pure delight. How could it not be? I've already started waffling on...
Halloumi Fajitas
