Sweet

DSC_0186 DSC_0182I am off to Kenya today. It seems the only time I actually find to blog is right before I am about to go away somewhere. Last time it was Glastonbury. I was going to share photos of what I ate but I somehow only managed to take 2 photos both of which are of things I ate and shared with you last year. D'oh. So let's just say I ate a lot of good food at Glastonbury and some not so great food. My favourite vendors were; Buddha Bowl, Tea & Toast, The Cheese Truck and The Hippy Chippy. If you see any of these guys at festivals you go to, hit 'em up! (So I've actually been to Kenya and come back since I began writing this post. Whoops)

DSC_0043 DSC_0037I have been wanting to make this pull- apart bread for a long while now. I came up with my version of the recipe (I adapted Joy the Bakers) and wrote it down in my wee recipe book maybe a year ago. I tried to make it last time I was home but the dough was left out over night so the yeast went cray and the dough was done for. I think maybe, just maybe, this is up there with my favourite, non-cake, sweet treats. You know that anything with cinnamon is going to taste good right?

P1070428 P1070438Yes, another crumble related recipe. Why? Because that's my JAM. No, no. Because, that's the way the cookie crumbles. It's worrying how quickly these terrible jokes come to me. Or does that make me a quick witted individual? I'll leave that for you to decide. You don't have to tell me what conclusion you come to. What a way to start a post eh. It's only taken me two weeks to attempt to make this, or was it three? Either way, my days off became days on, so the baking just kept being postponed. When it finally came round to my baking day, I was pretty darn excited.
